macOS

There are three options:

A: Run simulations from Terminal (macOS native executable) - nextnano simulation is possible.

B: Run simulations with nextnanopy (macOS native executable) - it can not only run the simulations but also sweep variables and postprocess the results.

C: Run simulations with the nextnanomat GUI using Wine (Windows executable).

For those who know some basic python, we recommend the option B.

For the options A and B, you need nextnano executables natively compiled for Mac, which you can find on our download page for macOS and Linux. If you cannot find a matching one, feel free to contact us at nextnano Help Center to ask about the availability. For the option C, Wine uses executables compiled for Windows, which you can find on our download page for Windows.
