Linux

There are three options:

A: Run simulations from Terminal (linux native executable) - nextnano simulation is possible.

B: Run simulations with nextnanopy (linux native executable) - it can not only run the simulations but also sweep variables and postprocess the results.

C: Run simulations with nextnanomat using Wine or Mono (Windows executable).

For those who know some basic python, we recommend the option B.

For the options A and B, you need nextnano executables natively compiled for your operating system, which you can find on our download page for macOS and Linux. If you cannot find a matching one, feel free to contact us at nextnano Help Center to ask about the availability. For the option C, Wine uses executables compiled for Windows, which you can find on our download page for Windows.
