Berlin under the Marie Curie program Quantimony. Her research focuses on the simulation and optimization of Sb-based semiconductor devices,
with a particular emphasis on quantum dots and quantum rings. At nextnano, she is involved in developing the optimization module, nextnanoevo.

Borislav Petrović

Borislav Petrović was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and MSc degrees in Photonics (2019) and Nanoelectronics and Photonics (2021). He studied gain broadening in multi-quantum well optical amplifiers and the modeling of LO phonon scattering in mid-infrared quantum cascade lasers with anisotropic electrical permittivity. In July 2021, he joined the group of Applied Physics at the University of Würzburg as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sven Höfling. He takes part in the EU project QUANTIMONY, funded by Maria Skłodowska-Curie Actions, focusing on the design, growth, and characterization of antimony-based interband cascade lasers for mid-infrared sensing. In May 2024, he joined nextnano for a one-month secondment within the QUANTIMONY project.

Yuta holds BSc degree in physics and is currently pursuing an MSc degree in Material Science at Kyoto University in Japan.
In his MSc degree, he examines microfabrication of semiconductors using two-dimensional materials, and characterizes the obtained samples.
At nextnano, he is doing an R&D internship via "Vulcanus in Europe 2023-2024" of the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation.
He works on the development of its software and customer service.

Prior to joining nextnano, he spent three years working as a financial analyst and copywriter for a Singapore start-up called Dr Wealth. Zhi Rong completed an
internship at nextnano through the NUS Overseas College entrepreneurial programme. Zhi Rong's role at nextnano involved business development, where he was responsible
for streamlining company processes and charting the company's direction. He was also involved in the company's sales and marketing efforts, leveraging his experience
in finance and copywriting to promote nextnano's products and services.

he specialized in quantum computing and communication. Giulio joined the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology of Madrid, Spain, to pursue a Ph.D. under the EU project QUANTIMONY, which
focuses on III-Sb compounds in semiconductor nanostructures for spin photon interfaces and filters. He also had a one-month secondment at nextnano GmbH to explore the effects of magnetic fields
on self-assembled semiconductor quantum dots.

he joined University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, to pursue his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Auf der Maur. He takes part in the EU project QUANTIMONY, funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie
Actions and focuses his research on improving the Empirical Tight-Binding module in the multiscale simulation software TiberCAD. As a secondment within the QUANTIMONY project, he spent one month at
nextnano in 2022.

Zoltán Jéhn

Zoltán was born in Hungary and holds a BSc degree in Theoretical Physics and a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME),
and a MSc degree in Applied and Engineering Physics of the Technische Universität München.
In 2010 he won the gold medal and the special prize for the best experimental work, and in 2011 the bronze medal at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in Zagreb (Kroatia) and Bangkok (Thailand), respectively.
At the national level, he was 2nd (2010) and 5th (2011), respectively.
In 2017 he founded Xiences where he developed the XienceSim simulation software.
He is now working at WorldQuant, Hungary.
