How does it work?
You can either use our web interface where you upload your input files,
or you submit your jobs directly within our nextnanomat graphical user interface
that you have already installed on your local PC.
You can also use our Virtual Servers via Remote Desktop. They have up to 8 cores and 56 GB RAM (date: 2014-Feb-27). Operating systems are Windows or Linux. nextnano is already preinstalled.
You can use as many of such servers as you like. You will be charged only for actual CPU time.
This is ideally suited if you have peak times for your simulations, e.g. if you want to do parameter sweeps on a large amount of computers.
High Performance computing (HPC).
Our cloud is using Windows Azure HPC.
How can I use the cloud?
Are you an early adopter?
If you want to run nextnano jobs in the cloud, please contact us.
We are seeking beta users that have jobs that run at least 30 minutes.
Ideally suited are simulations that use parameter sweeps, like calculations of the eigenvalues in a quantum dot (QD) as a function of QD height, alloy content, ...
We are seeking beta users that eventually have access to a budget for cloud computing.
